
EDUCATIONAL COUNSELING and PLACEMENT for SCHOOL, COLLEGE, GRADUATE and PROFESSIONAL PROGRAMS
- Comprehensive, in-depth candidate assessment with participation of child and parents/guardians (when appropriate)
- Evaluation of academic history via records, test performance, commentary, recommendations
- Administration of computer-based Interest and Aptitude batteries, discussion and implementation of findings
- Suggestions for further testing, assistance with forms, documentation and translations when needed

- At the pre-college and occasionally the undergraduate level, direct contact with enrollment officers to introduce client, discuss admissibility and ensure maximum consideration of candidate’s credentials
- Demystification of admissions procedures and coaching for optimum presentation
- Assistance with application materials, test scheduling and preparation, interview technique and admission strategy
- Consideration of family’s financial circumstances and its potential impact in the admission process
- Review of essays and short answers for clarity of expression and grammatical accuracy
- When appropriate, support of client’s candidacy with admissions committees after applications have been submitted
- Realistic appraisal of admissions results, weighing of options and appropriate actions, wait list strategy
- Resource for opinion and strategy for final decision
- Ongoing counsel to ensure a smooth transition in the new educational setting
